Village

The more than 750-year-old Evendorf is situated at the edge of the nature park 'Lüneburger Heide', surrounded by light pine forests which are specific for the heathland and many fields. In the village you can buy many of the typical products directly at the farmers. Attention deserve especially the potatoes and the honey of this region.
The BAB (highway) is not far away. On one hand you have an easy journey, on the other you are fast at other places of interest, e.g. such as Hamburg, Hannover, the Baltic Sea or Helgoland.

Places of Interest

There is a trail which leads through the forests and fields in the surrounding area. In the restaurant 'Omas Bratkartoffelhuus', located in an ancient half-timbered house, everybody should feel at home.
