Village

The heath village at the edge of the nature park 'Lüneburger Heide', surrounded by light mixed forests, is a state-approved leisure place. Here lived the well-known Pastor Wilhelm Bode who was one of the founders of the nature reserve and he had in fact a lasting effect on this area. As a tribute his bust is set up on the village square.
